The Inspiration: Every year several thousand small businesses suffer from graffiti defacing their property.  
The Problem: While graffiti can enhance cities like Toronto, mindless tagging tarnishes its reputation. We aim to shift this negative perception by urging artists to reconsider their placements. Vans, known for its youth and street culture association, is our ideal partner due to its support for artistic expression and strong brand loyalty.
The Solution: We plan to reshape the image of graffiti artists by addressing mindless tagging. Taggers enjoy the thrill as much as the recognition that comes with seeing their signature around town. With this in mind, we have created blank canvases to be pasted around the city, encouraging taggers to make a statement. Once these canvases are filled, they will be displayed at the House of Vans and turned into limited edition merch.
A select number of tags placed on our blank canvases will be turned into limited-edition merch to be sold at house of vans and some proceeds will go back to the artists.
